Tiles

This is a once-in-your-life chance to go out on the tiles with your mates along with some of the club's legends.

Depending on your ambitions you can be a Collegians' tile for an eternity .. or near enough to it.

The club is offering, starting from a wet $20, a tile in our magnificent new showers with your name on it. The more you pay the higher you go, until, at the top, for $50, you join our legends.  For $50 you choose the tile you want, for $20 you wait for us to allocate you a tile (families given preference to be together ... unless you'd rather not).

This has nothing to do with playing-merit - for once - you can get there whether you deserve it or not by just paying.  

Alternatively, sponsor a Legend, men such as Len Perkins, Monty Bennett, Hartley Brimelow, The Bush Bishop; the club has an almost endless list (if you've forgotten have a look in www.oldcollegiansrugby.org.au/history/gallery/och-gallery.shtml).  Before being so bold, though, check to see who has already been nominated.

Or, is there someone in the club you don't have much affection for? Well, buy a tile in his/her name and get it put at the bottom row. Or, want to annoy Brighton? Get your name up where they have to see it while they're contemplating the ignominy of wretched defeat.

As a parent, with that parent's knowledge that your son, or daughter, will inevitably be not just perhaps, if you're lucky, a club legend, but a national legend, get in early, get your talented sprog up there with the greats now while you can.  You'd hardly want your budding Wallaby down there at the toe-level of our greatest rugby rivals, now would you?

Your ambitions for eternal recognition will help to pay for the new showers, so you're helping both yourselves, or your budding rugby-great in-the-making and helping out the club's finances.
